If you’re looking for a group experience in Lincolnshire, my private jewellery making workshops are all about creativity, fun, and making memories you can wear. It’s a lovely way to spend time with friends or family – whether you’re celebrating something special or simply fancy a creative day out together.
How to arrange
If you’d like to arrange a group booking, just drop me an email telling me:
- What class you’re interested in (see workshop types below)
- Number of people
- Preferred day of week and range of dates. I usually do Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, though I can sometimes do midweek.
Types of workshop
Half day workshops are three hours, for a maximum of six people, and the group can choose from:
- Set of three stacking rings
- Chunky silver ring with monogram or nugget
- Silver earrings
- Silver pendant
- Silver paperclip bracelet
- Silver flower ring
If you’re feeling more adventurous, you can try your hand at casting. These are full day workshops, usually 10am-4pm, for a maximum of four people. Choose from:
- Sand casting
- Water casting
- Pasta casting
No experience? No problem.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or just curious to try something new, I’ll guide you through the traditional techniques jewellers have used for centuries – sawing, soldering, filing, finishing, and even melting and pouring molten silver if you’d like to try casting. (And don’t worry, I’ll also show you how not to melt metal if it’s not on your agenda!)
If you have some experience or are a quick study, there may be an opportunity to add an embellishment, eg a nugget to a stacking ring, or a stone to a flower ring.
What do I need to bring?
Everything is provided: tools, materials, and expert tuition. By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with more than just some impressive new skills – you’ll take home a truly unique piece of silver jewellery, crafted by your very own hands.
