Paperclip chain bracelet workshop, Sleaford | Sat 14 Nov | 10am-1pm
Make a silver paperclip chain bracelet in Lincolnshire
This is a relaxed and hands-on workshop in Lincolnshire where you’ll create your own paperclip-style chain bracelet from scratch. This beginner-friendly class is a great introduction to the world of jewellery making – no experience needed.
You’ll learn how to:
- Cut and file silver wire
- Use mandrels and pliers to form and shape consistent links
- Solder to join your links together
- Make / attach a clasp
- Add texture
- Finish and polish
The class includes all materials to make a bracelet.
Workshops are small and supportive, so there’s plenty of time for individual guidance. Whether you’re looking to try something new or just want to spend a few creative hours making something beautiful, you’ll leave with a unique piece of jewellery and some serious jewellery-making skills. All tools and materials provided – just bring your enthusiasm and a few other things….
What do I need to bring?
- Appropriate clothing – wear something you don’t mind getting a little dirty, and avoid loose clothing, eg wide sleeves or scarves
- Wear closed toed shoes, especially as we’ll be soldering
- Hair tie – if you have long hair, it must be tied back
- Notebook/sketchpad
